Queen Margherita of Savoy had a special connection with the Grand Hotel Bellavista, as she often stayed in Montecatini Terme to enjoy the renowned thermal waters and the healthy climate of the area. The Bellavista, already a prestigious establishment at the time and set within a centuries-old park, became one of her favourite residences during her visits to Montecatini. Queen Margherita's visits left an indelible mark on the hotel's identity, making it a symbol of the area's noble and aristocratic past.
